She's a wonderful lady and a great surfer. I don't know if she still does, but the last time I saw her, she was riding a heavy, 10' Bing with green-flowered layup and just doing the do. She and shaper Bob Howard just worked together on a board. It's beautiful. He was teaching her how to shape, so they did the board as a team. As she is an artist, she also did some artwork on it. She's someone with whom I bumped heads when we initially met. Now, we're close friends. |
