I sold my MZ to get the HG and actually prefer the HG. I definitely dug the MZ but the HG seems to have a bit more volume and the tail is different. The HG is actually a better paddler and better in regards to carving. I think the MZ still had a bit more of a longboard feel to it, while the HG is a different animal. They're both fast as hell and beat sections with ease. I don't know. It's kind of tough to quantify but to me, I like the way the HG rides more. Maybe Und Cabin could also chime in. He had an MZ but moved to an HG as well. |
