Debates are taking place regarding one fin versus two (or three or four or five), 50/50 versus 60/40, convex versus concave, square tail or pin; some are sitting quietly, just watching; others used to talk a lot but haven't been to the table in awhile; newcomers pipe in with a word or two (a few listen, then look away); boards are swapped and sold; Shapewright and Boarddesign are told to go wash their hands because they have resin all over them; Roy is told to put away his wooden throne, Peakmaster looks guilty because he just took his third 45-minute shower of the day, and Austin walks in the kitchen door with a board covered with a confederate flag and says, "Look what I made!" |
