335563 20597 Let's Talk About Eggs 77 CloseOut Jan 19, 2025 2025-01-19T11:04:40-0500 I’ve been on an egg exploration and trying a few different types/lengths. 7”2 Bing collector - this has been great all around board and paddles super well with wider nose. Felt it could hold in steeper stuff with pintail but rails are somewhat fat so not the easiest to turn 7”4 Bing good Karma - much more of a bigger wave board needs some push to get it going, don’t ride this one as much as 7”6 Elmore egg man - a friends that’s I’ve borrowed a few times. Much more paddle friendly the the karma, pretty turnable aswell, slightly more glide then the collector but likely just couple more inches 7”6 beamish single fin egg/ mini glider - more of a step up point and shoot, likely going to move this one as it’s too thick to duck dive. 6”10 Fineline egg - this one was pretty foiled and needed slightly more wave to get it going for breaks I was surfing and ended up reaching for different boards at size I felt it would have been good for. Really nice trim and fast once it got going though and could crank a turn. Would want to try something in the 7”6+ length again if it ever pops up 6”6 Campbell bros Bonzer egg- picked this up recently as a bigger waver egg, have only gotten out once on a small - medium size day to test lower end and it was still able to work. Need more sessions before reporting back.
