Super fun easy riding board but very chunky and not refined like the Lo Pro different shapers. Engle-Apex from California Chizza-Lo Pro from Torquay near Bells. Never surfed Californian waves but they look pretty rolly so thinking the Apex has more volume and chunk to suit those waves. Please correct me if am wrong. Chizza's boards shaped for Southern Ocean powered waves. I know there is cross over but I find the Lo Pro can handle bigger more solid waves than the Apex with so much more sensitivity in feed back through your feet and ankles which I found the Apex didnt have. Mind you I am surfing the Poly version which Chizza prefers. |
