Stable, easy to noserider and whippy. However, I feel like there is a drag when paddling. I think it might be the tail kick, which causes me to position more toward the nose. I had the same issue with the Neo Classic in TB Silver. I'm about 185lb at 5'9. I got a chance to surf CJ's personal 9'8 Slasher in full carbon. The tail kick is not as pronounced as the production version. It was balanced. Felt very neutral when paddling without any drags. Still easy to noseride and whip around. This is what's holding me off on getting the production version. Does anyone else feel the drag when paddling on the Slasher? |
