I know @personalityprofile has some opinions on the new vs old. Click to expand... My old 9'11" is #417, at least 6 years old, and way different than the 11' that I picked up last year (#1163). I'm not sure if a new 9'11" would be as different as my two boards, but I have a feeling it would be closer to the design of the 11' board than my 9'11. The 9'11" feels loose and free and turns easily from the middle while the 11' wants you to set a line and stick to it and takes a considerably more effort to swing. The tail is narrower and the fins are much closer together on the new board. I'm leaning towards selling the 11' fwiw Some pics of both are here: |
