Logs don’t have to be super heavy. These modern logs benefit from slightly lighter weight as they allow more dynamic surfing. As a small and light person, I’ve moved away from heavy boards over the last few years and it’s helped my surfing definitely. That said, in Europe there have been a fair few CI and Christenson from the same factory with very fragile glass jobs which is what would give me pause….. |
