He undoubtedly names towns and makes it easy to figure out where he is in Monmouth County. His self deprecating humor and folksy approach seems harmless enough and I don't think he really thinks he is giving away any secrets. He is about 5'4" tall max and is not an imposing figure in or out of the water.To Peak's point though both Monmouth and Ocean counties have much higher populations then those counties south of us, so for sure the waves are more crowded then our southerly brethren. I get the sense that if someone was to diplomatically explain to Brian that he should refrain from naming spots/towns, he would. I have had some congenial back and forth with him on his Youtube channel and he honestly seems approachable. Just in it for fun. I could be wrong. |
