A Griffin keel is also tempting. Click to expand... Mro, I happened to meet up with Mike Discipulo (Bing teamer) last Friday and borrowed his "Elevator". The board was 9'4", pretty light, I'd guess at about 20 lbs. or so, and was very easy to adapt to. Slightly "piggish" attitude in its template (widest aft of center), flipped tail, with a moderately blended concave. It seemed to have the attributes to make it a good everyday longboard to me. After surfing it for a couple of hours in some small knee to hip, I liked it. It livened up on the better set waves, y'know, like the double over knee stuff.
