Was blowing about 20-30 offshore when this was taken. I went to the wrong place and was late Monday and when I got in, it was supposed be doing 35-45. Wasn't fun then.  Click to expand... What is that move called 0:19-0:22 when you you spun around? How did you shift your weight, placing of your feet on the board, in order to do that? I was out on that pier pre-dawn that morning and climbed up the stairs to the deck of the weather station at the outside end of the pier looking for an interesting angle for a sunrise shot. While I'm looking thru the view finder, a big set comes thru and the station starts swaying wildly. I got down fast and woozy. I thought it was connected to the pier but it's on 3 separate pilings that r 8 feet higher than the pier and only 18-20 inches apart. Now I'm wondering how it has lasted so long. I still feel queasy. |
