As I have gotten older the technology has gotten better with NTN and the shorter fatter skis. Started in the early 80s with 3 pins and 210cm skinnies. Used to do a lot of Californian PSIA workshops in the early 90s. Where did you instruct and Race? I might have skied with you. Seems to be just one degree of separation in the Telemark ski scene. When I got into the race stuff made the move to NTN bindings and scarpa tx comp boots. Most of my racing was east coast but made it out to Colorado for the national championships at steamboat and eldora Mtn over the years. I did the PSIA thing too. I taught for years out of loon mountain in New Hampshire and was a PSIA examiner. Did PSIA for alpine, Telemark and adaptive. Spent 10 years full time in the ski industry for the winters and spent those summers teaching sailing or working at a marina in Maine and doing yacht deliveries from Maine south towards the Caribbean.
