My 7'4 is really silky smooth from the middle - they're a displacement hull so smooth/rubber-band feel is the name of the game from center on the board. I find the keels MUCH easier on rail than a single, which really was the spark to make this board a reality, you still have to be gentle on the back foot but it's much quicker in turning radius than other widepoint forward Singlefin displacement hulls IMO.
