Can't believe that one of my Hobie custom only cost $147.90… in 1965 To put this in perspective though, that amounts to $1,252 in 2021 dollars considering both average inflation rate of 3.9% and cumulative inflation since. While wages/salaries have stagnated over time and costs of living have risen, surfboards-wise we're not faring too bad.
