I'm not a great at noseriding and I've only have a couple of beach break sessions on it. I've tried a 9'6 with a big pivot, a rakey pivot and Greenough 4A. I could only get it to noseride on 1-2' waves but nothing steep and really closed to the pocket. That tail wants to slide out. As waves get bigger (4-6') and faster, cheater 5 was the best I could do, and I was hanging on for dear life knowing the tail will eventually slip out. I really want to try a 10' Neo Classic to see how well it noserides, especially without any nose concaves. Looking for used if anybody wants to let theirs go. |
