You'll be like the guys on "Antique Roadshow" who bring in 18th century windsor chairs, perfect condition, and the Keno brothers will rattle off the virtues of said chairs, the rarity, the beautiful wood, then ask the owners: "Did you re-finish this chair?" The owners respond, "Uh...yeah" To which the Keno brothers reply, "Well, in original condition, this chair would have been worth $250,000. But, since you re-finished it, about $5,000."
