Tried it in my 9-6 in waist high beach break. The first thing I noticed was how smooth it allowed the nose to come around. I thought, due to the size, I would have to really stand on the tail to turn the board but I did not have to. I think it would work better in long walled up waves. For our shorebreak, it softened up the turns where I needed it to allow me to cutback quicker. It was a fun experiment to see guys look at it and say “wow, what the hell is that, and can I try it?” Very cool. |
