Wish I had held on to mine! I'd be rich! Bought mine in like 1967? at a Sears and Roebuck in Hillsdale Mall (San Mateo) on a basement sale for $60!!!!!!!! Sold it to a friend up the street for $25 for a shortboard in 1969. Think it ended up on the ceiling of Pearson's Surf Shop in Santa Cruz (red rails, wooden tail/nose block and wooden fin). With a Not for Sale sign! I gotta admit, it was a killer of a board for Cowell's. |
