Click to expand... Got in one very short session at Bolsa Chica with the Choate, but the swell was already pretty played out. I thought it was going to be a big floaty beast perfect for small mushy waves, but it turns out to be a really elegant, slightly piggish glider with a tapered (not quite step-) deck at the nose and tail. Unlike the 11-foot, very thin Christenson fishsimmons I used to have, this has enough foam to support me. In the right conditions, I think it'll be a blast. Looking forward to trying the ultra-wide Olsen. Orange is the new crack! |
