I've ridden a few Manis and they have all been great. The chunk seems to have the perfect mix of Simmons and quad fish. It whips through turns, tighter than a keel fish and let's you surf it much more aggressively than a twin fish or a classic mini sim. There's tonnes of lateral speed but none of the squirly ness you get with most mini Simmons. It doesn't feel like you have to nurse a bottom turn or a cutback. It's good backside too, especially if you get your back foot right over the fins which is maybe easier with the chunk tail compared to the asq The rails are nicely thinned out compared to my bar of soap for example which helps you engage the rail solidly It's been exactly what I was looking for. This is an asq mostly apart from the last two waves which are an arc tail quad but it gives a good feel for the lines they draw Click to expand... you are like a drug dealer man-- I love it |
