Lot's of peaks everywhere, have the poke ceviche at the restaurant with the huge pig(don't know if it's still there). Playa Negra can be hardcore but if you have the skills it's a good barrel. Don't care much for Tamarindo because it's too touristy but maybe I am spoiled(was there in 1993 before it became a tourist town). If you can extend the trip or have the time to take 2 days visit the Arenal volcanoe, it's a unique experience to watch an active volcano at night, you probably need a car but driving in CR is pretty safe if you stay on the road. As I always say and people never do: post photos when you get back. |
