It's not like the once critiques of Alex, in that Alex's style has come to be accepted as who he is. A good friend of mine, among the top single fin loggers I have ever seen surf, once told me that rather than attempt to iron out those little quirks in your surfing that people might critique (for him crazy arms at times, for me an occasional bobble head) you should embrace your \"flaws\". If only JA's quirks were flaws and not the result of calculated maneuvers.
