Like millions reported as billions.  Considering the massive good agencies like USAID do/did for people around the world, not to mention the strategic importance of doing that work, it's disappointing to see the entire agency treated as if it were some sort of corrupt money-making scheme. Skepticism is good but I think doge is the agency that deserves the most of it right now.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs for firings, Clinton tried reducing federal workforce and studies done since showed that the reductions ultimately cost more because independent contractors were brought in at higher rates with LESS oversight to do the same work.
