It can be pretty depressing to make the drive up 163 south out of Mission Valley (just one example, it's pretty much everywhere) and see scattered trash, overgrown weeds in the center divide, furniture and appliances ditched on the side of the road, and so on. Then again the depression is usually greatly lessened on a nice sunny day, and gets much worse on the occasional gray and dreary one.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJust my .98\u00a2 (adjusted for inflation)\n        \n\n\nClick to expand...\n\n\n\n\nIt's pretty bad (and depressing) in certain areas of downtown\u2026 tents literally lining the streets, along with the trash one would expect from such a situation\u2026. And nobody (read: 'the Government') seems to be even attempting to do anything about it.
