I miss CA often, but the cost of living was astronomical. We often look at property there and are discouraged when we see the combo of mortgage plus HOA fees.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThough, I will say that the east coast nickel and dimes you for many things that CA does not. Not to mention the privatization of ocean access here.
