He had a formula on his fin placement them only Rusty and Blue Hawaii paid him. I've reach out to Rusty and nothing\n\n\n\nI've been searching for Will for years and no luck, last I heard was trailer park in Arizona not doing well.\n\n\n\n# Dane Parlee worked with Wil and is about as close as you can get.\n\n\n\n# Ward Coffey\n\n\n\n# Joey Thomas\n\n\n\n#Vince Brogilo glassed  Wil board\n\n\n\n# Rob Goin\n\n\n\n# Nick Palandrani Wil mentored him and has formulas and some of Wils old templates. \n\n\n\n#Pearson Arrow.\n\n\n\n#David Vernor\n\n\n\n#Manny Caro worked with Wil as well.\n\n\n\nI'm probably missing some Santa Cruz guys but all of these guys worked with Wil at some point.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDown south\n\n\n\n#Tim Stamps\n\n\n\n#Mabile\n\n\n\n#Barry Synder\n\n\n\n#Stu Kenson\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEast Coast\n\n\n\n# Brian Wynn\n\n\n\n# Mike Daniels\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHawaii\n\n\n\n# Minami\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProbably more but not sure.\n\n\n\nTwinzers are amazing and frustrating at the same time. Fin placement is very important for the design to function correctly. Reason for experimenting. Wil had it figured out.\n\n\n\nIt helps to know if your a front foot or rear footed surfer, this will help with placement.\n\n\n\nStandard placement is 8 to 8.5 inches from tail. 4 to 6 degrees of cant on mains around 1-3/8 from rail.\n\n\n\nIve moved mine back to around 7 inches and really enjoy the extra drive and hold\n\n\n\nCanards are the hardest to figure out. 1 inch to 1-1/4 inch gap. Can't is from 6 to 9 degrees\n\n\n\nOverlap is all over the place, I've been trying less overlap, 1/4 inch is a good place to start.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor Fins FCS are great so you can make your own and move them back or forth, can make a dud board fire. This will require you to Mack your own fins.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen done correctly you get speed of a twin, turns like a thruster without that anchor.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIll go and look over all my notes and add some more info\n\n\n\n\n@hankster\n is another Twinzer guy and knows what works.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to add anything relevant to conversation."]], "columns": ["post_id", "thread_id", "thread_title", "post_number", "author_username", "post_date", "post_date_iso", "post_body"], "primary_keys": ["post_id"], "primary_key_values": ["219726"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.6983269995544106, "license": "Public Domain"}
