Board turns really well from the hips, super nice feel when you are doing a fading turn as you can really feel the wider hips and the less volume up front combining to give the board a wippy feel...in other words it comes  around nicely. It also doesn't hurt that the minimal nose rocker lends itself to great paddling and entry speed for getting in to the wave early.
