A 12'0\" GP Surfboards out of Capitola (near Santa Cruz), it's another surprisingly turnable beast and because of a lighter blank (and like the Terry, 8oz volan sked) it's super sensitive and responsive.  It was a personal board for Nick (P of GP) Palandrani that he told me surfed in mammoth waves either at or near Ghost Tree.  It moved from there to being hung in a SC restaurant for years; then somehow Miles ended up with it and I eventually got my hands upon it.  Also pretty foiled with a very slight downrail in the tail.  Though it has concave in the nose, I'll admit I haven't gotten my little piggies hanging yet but Nick recommended a serious D fin or larger rudder if I wanted that action.  Stoked with the glide.  Ridden both the Terry and the GP in overhead waves with no problem and they performed admirably.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPS: The Pearson on the left was a great board but traded it to get back an old fave."]], "columns": ["post_id", "thread_id", "thread_title", "post_number", "author_username", "post_date", "post_date_iso", "post_body"], "primary_keys": ["post_id"], "primary_key_values": ["193234"], "units": {}, "query_ms": 0.7705900025030132, "license": "Public Domain"}
