The non turbo fours can't get out of their own way but will get you wherever reliably.  The 8 series are probably easier to find these days. Many still have old school rain gutters for real racks too.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJust flipped my 2006 XC90 2.5T over to my son. It's been super reliable, tons of room and minimal cost to own. Mileage...18 mpg. Behind the curve with Bluetooth. ..but aftermarket solutions work OK. There are a lot of used ones out there. The 2.5 engine and drive train are the most reliable.\n\n\n\nWhat White Russian said too. I think the AWD was stolen directly from Audio as was the five cylinder engine design.
