I brought my beloved Phillips pig to the beach and yanked on the board bag's zipper -- yank -- yank -- yank -- nothing.  It was salted shut.  Dang.  The waves were closing out anyway, so I paddled out on the boog.  The waves were so so, but I had a great moment where a huge pod of dolphins swam right through the lineup and pretty much all around me for several minutes.  There were a bunch of babies in there as well, kind of playfully flopping around.  None surfaced right next to me, but I could see the swirling water on both sides of me close enough to reach out and touch them if they had surfaced.  Awesome.
